JERRY KING MUSSER
Born in Defiance, Pennsylvania / 6th of March 1950.
Visual Design Consultant since 1975.
Creator of video, photographic images + graphics.
Musser has been published in over 75 graphic design annuals and has worked on design projects for companies like Apple Computer, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Polaroid, Microsoft, PPL Electric, CBS Records, Columbia House, Penn State Press, IBM, The Hermitage Museum, National Geographic Society, Herman Miller Furniture, Pennsylvania State Museum, Power Station Recording, Sprint, the Government of Macedonia, US Steel, Sunoco, UPMC, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Bucknell University, Geisinger Medical Center, and numerous others.
His personal video work has won countless festival awards in cities such as Kranj, Yugoslavia; Oslo, Norway; Paris, France; Utrecht, Netherlands; Bilbao, Spain; Miami, Florida; Melbourne, Australia; London & Cambridge, England; Warsaw, Poland; Pune, India; Oberhausen, Germany; Lisbon, Portugal; Toronto & Montreal, Canada; Rosario, Argentina; Ghent, Belgium; Moscow & Saint Petersburg, Russia; Singapore; and others.
Additionally, his video work resides in permanent museum collections in Barcelona & Bilboa, Spain; Paris, France; Naples, Italy; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Prague, Czech Republic.
He has produced music videos for Dan Hartman and Golden Earring (w/Paul deNooijer) and has worked on station identifiers for MTV (w/Fred Miles), one being nominated for a CLEO award.
Musser has taught filmmaking at the university level in the Netherlands and has taught graphic design at two colleges in Pennsylvania.
His photographic work has been featured in magazines published in Paris, France; Hilversum, Netherlands; and Basel, Switzerland.
